【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportspecifiesrecommendationsfortheperformanceanddesignofventilationsystemswhichservesinglefamily,multifamilyandapartmenttypedwellingsduringbothsummerandwinter.Itisofparticularinteresttoarchitects,designers,buildersandthoseinvolvedwithimplementingnational,regionalandlocalregulationsandstandards.Fourbasicventilationstrategiesarecovered;naturalventilation,fanassistedsupplyairventilation,fanassistedexhaustairventilationandfanassistedbalancedairventilation.Combinationsofthesesystemsarenotexcludedandaventilationsystemmayserveonlyonedwelling(individualsystem)ormorethanonedwelling(centralsystem).Theventilationaspectsofcombinedsystems(ventilationwithheatingand/orcooling)arecovered.Theventilationofgarages,commonspaces,roofvoids,sub-floorvoids,wallcavitiesandotherspacesinthestructure,under,overoraroundthelivingspacearenotcovered.VentilationsystemscoveredbythisTechnicalReportmayaffecttheentryanddilutionofradonandothergasesfromthegroundbuttheseeffectsarenotcoveredinthisTechnicalReport.VentilationsystemsdesignedtoreducetheentryofradonandothergasesfromthegroundarenotcoveredbythisTechnicalReport.
