【摘要】:Thetendencyoftheinsulationtowardwickingcanresultinanincreaseinweightandaresultantpotentialdegradationinthepropertiesoftheinsulation.1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratoryprocedureforevaluatingthetendencyof,aircrafttype,glassfiberblanketinsulationtowickwater.1.2Thewickingcharacteristicsofmaterialsmaybeaffectedbyenvironmentalconditionssuchastemperatureandhumidity.Valuesobtainedasaresultofthistestmethodmaynotadequatelydescribethewickingcharacteristicsofmaterialssubjecttoconditionsotherthanthoseindicatedinthetestmethod.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
